TEHRAN – Veteran vocalist Shahram Nazeri has cancelled his concerts in the central Iranian city of Isfahan due to severe respiratory infections.

In a video released on his Instagram on Thursday, he expressed regret for cancelling the concerts, which scheduled to be held on last Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

He expressed his hope that the concerts would be performed next week.

He was admitted to a Tehran hospital and medical team is trying to treat him, his brother, Sadi, told the Persian service of MNA on Friday.

“The medical team is trying to ward off infections and the master will soon resume his performances,” he added.
